Currently, Sarah Wood is Social Media Director for the progressive Veterans organization, VoteVets. Born into a military family, Wood is a Marine Corps and Navy granddaughter, an Army daughter-in-law, and the sister of a Marine.
Wood has been working in political social media content curation for 14 years with content reaching several million people daily. Additionally, she has worked with top tier political campaigns, including Team Pelosi, and PACs, creating social media content including graphics and video.
Wood was the creator and editor-in-chief of the satirical web publication, Free Wood Post, with a readership of over 25 million. Most recently, Wood was a freelance writer and content creator. She can also be seen online as a political correspondent offering commentary, often using comedy, with her most popular video to date garnering over 4 million views.
With her personal Facebook page, Wood has been able to reach out and interact with an audience directly to discuss issues that are important to varying communities. Currently, her page has 72K followers with a reach of roughly 2.2 million. She can also be found on X and Instagram.
Sarah is a comedic writer who completed sketch comedy coursework through Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City and has samples available upon request.
